The Cycplus L7 is a rear bicycle light with built-in millimeter wave radar that detects oncoming vehicles from up to 160 meters away. It weighs 67 grams, offers a 270° visibility angle, and has an operating time of up to 36 hours in radar mode. The combination of illumination, detection and intelligent algorithms is designed to enhance safety when driving in various conditions, both during the day and after dark.
The radar used is capable of detecting vehicles traveling at relative speeds from 6 to 160 km/h. The system monitors the space behind the cyclist and transmits information in real time. When a vehicle approaches, the user receives an audible and visual warning, including the position of the vehicle and the level of danger, allowing the user to remain fully aware of the traffic situation.Note: a compatible bicycle computer is required for the warning system to work.
The radar offers a detection angle of 40°, which helps reduce blind spots and increase safety when cornering. This solution enables early detection of oncoming traffic without having to look back, providing greater peace of mind and confidence when riding.
There are several modes to choose from, including continuous (Consant), which will work well in a variety of scenarios, blinking (Blinking) - perfect for night rides, pulsing (Breathing) and radar (Radar), designed for daytime driving. In addition, a Peloton function is available, allowing several lights to synchronize their flashing frequency - an ideal option for group rides. Settings can be changed both with a button on the housing and via the CYCPLUS app.
The 2,000 mAh battery provides up to 25 hours of operation in bright flashing mode and up to 36 hours in single radar mode. Improved design and proprietary algorithms to optimize power consumption have made it possible to combine high performance with compact dimensions. In addition, an automatic sleep function after 3 minutes of inactivity and wake-up on movement further improve energy efficiency.
The lamp has been equipped with a light indicator that shows the operating status and battery level. Green indicates a charge above 30%, while red indicates 30% or less. Slow flashing indicates that the radar is on, while a steady light indicates that it is currently not working. Just a glance is all it takes to know the most important information!
Cycplus L7 works with ANT+-compatible devices, including bicycle counters, smartwatches and more. So you can easily create your own system for trips or workouts.
The kit allows you to mount the light on both the seat pillar and saddle rails. The included adapters, rubber pads and straps allow you to adjust the mount to different shapes and diameters, ensuring a stable and secure attachment. In addition, the light is IPX6 rated, which means it is rain and splash resistant - you can use it in various weather conditions without worry.
